Noriyuki Abe is the famous
anime director from Japan, who has given great hits like Ninku,
Flame of Recca, Bleach, and Yu Yu Hakusho at the Studio Pierrot.
The Bleach
director Noriyuki Abe and Masakazu Morita appeared as guests at the
Gold Coast Film Festival on 20th April, 2012. They also appeared at the
Gold Coast Supanova Expo on the same day.
At the beginning, in 1983, Noriyuki Abe worked
with Studio Pierrot as a storyboard and choreographer assistant for
Norakuro-kun and Heisei Tensai Bakabon. Then he started exploring
himself in the field of animation by working on Yoshihiro Togashi’s Yu
Yu Hakusho, a comic.
Masakazu Morita played the character of Ichigo
Kurosaki which was the most important role of the animated show
“Bleach”. Besides this, Morita has also portrayed memorable roles in TV
dramas, stage shows, and films.
Bleach is a very popular graphic novel from the
past whose 350 episodes, containing 450 chapters have been released.
Moreover, its 75 million copies have been sold out in Japan alone.

Masakazu Morita and Noriyuki Abe took a 90
minutes master class at the Film Festival on 20th April. In that class
the hot topic was about how “Bleach” received such a global appraisal.
