Edgar vs Maynard 2 Preview

Ok, we have an interesting fight card on the menu. Frankie Edgar will face Gray Maynard on the UFC 125 event. This will, of course be the main event of the evening.

What are my thoughts about this fight, you ask?

Well, first I'd like to say that I haven't seen anyone as underrated as Frankie Edgar in the MMA community. I mean, come on guys, he beat "the Prodigy" BJ Penn twice. When I was watching those fights I was thinking how weak BJ Penn actually looks. Sure, Frankie Edgar isn't the most spectacular fighter in the world, but he gets the job done. People seem to forget that these guys are constantly fighting the best of the best in the world. You can't expect them to win every fight by a flying knee or who knows what not. I think that Frankie Edgar has good chances in this fight if he is able to keep it on his feet. Gray Maynard is simply (in my opinion) unmatched when it comes to wrestling in his weight division.

This will be a tough challenge for Gray Maynard on January 1st in the MGM Grand Arena. Some people think that he is the most boring fighter in MMA history, but this is just his style. He's paid for winning, not for dropping people down, and that's the fact in the MMA (especially UFC) organization today. IMHO, Gray Maynard is the top of the class wrestler in this division. Maybe he's not that attractive, but he takes people down so easily. Based on all of the above, here's my prediction on how the Edgar vs Maynard 2 Fight will end:

f the fight doesn't go to the ground, Edgar will simply outpunch Maynard. He's a faster, more agile, and more technical fighter when it comes to stand up. However, if Maynard manages to take Frankie down, he may simply wear him out (not necessarily finish him) because he is a lot stronger fighter physically.
Be sure to watch the Edgar vs Maynard 2 Fight Video Preview below, and stay tuned for the Edgar vs Maynard 2 Full Fight review. Thanks for reading! Oh, and by the way, don't forget to share your thoughts about the fight below, I'd love to hear what you think. Also, I don't share any full fight videos anymore because it presents a copyright infringement also.

UFC 125 has a good card – the main card throwing Frankie Edgar vs Gray Maynard for the lightweight title, Shane Carwin vs Roy Nelson and Takanori Gomi will take on Clay Guida. The latter two are good enough to become UFC 125 fight of the night or even the KO of the night honors. The Main card for the UFC 125;

Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard: While both I am not a fan of either of these. While Frankie Edgar is smart and one who sticks to his plan inside the ring, Maynard is no mean. He too can execute game plan very well, but whoever can take the control of the pace of the fight will be the winner and Frankie Edgar is my winner.

Then in the Shane Carwin vs Roy Nelson, the latter has went on becoming respectful fighter after initial poor shows in the rings, and I believe that all the respect will be contained by Shane Carwin. The fight between these 2 could be Fight of the Night or KO of the Night. Shane Carwin is winner.

The Takanori Gomi vs Clay Guida is another fight potent enough to become Fight of the Night honors and I will be voting 'The Carpenter' as winner.

Even Chris Leben vs Brian Stann fight card can become Knock Out of the Night and the Fight of the Night. My winner is Chris Leben.

In the Nate Diaz vs Dong Hyun Kim fight I am not a fan of Hyun Kim and the Nate Diaz will win. Watch UFC 125 Resolution Live Online Free Frank Edgar VS Gray MayNard on Jan 1 2011 below.

“Harry Potter,” “Twilight” sequels lead list of anticipated 2011 releases

As soon as “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One” ended, I wanted to see the finale … so it’s no surprise that “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two” leads a list of the Most Anticipated Movies for 2011 in a poll conducted by Fandango.com.

More than 1,000 people surveyed over the Christmas holiday chose the last “Harry Potter” as the film they can’t wait to see next year. Fans of the boy wizard will have to wait until July 15, which is when Warner Bros.’ series finally concludes.

Coming in second place in the poll was yet another sequel: “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1,” which is due in theaters on Nov. 18. Guys, meanwhile, said they are most looking forward to the second “Hangover,” which will be in theaters on May 26.

So 2011 looks sequel-heavy, and Marvel has to be a little bit disappointed that their summer blockbusters “Thor” and “Captain America” went unmentioned. But if I had to pick the five films I’m most looking forward to in 2011, I’d go with:

5. The Beaver – Mel Gibson hopefully being recognized for his acting abilities, and not for the poor choices he makes in his private life.

4. Captain America – Of the two Marvel properties opening this summer, the World War II setting and casting of Hugo Weaving as Red Skull have me anticipating Cap over Thor.

3. X-Men: First Class – Far be it from me to lean too heavily on the comic-book genre, but Matthew Vaughn is a terrific storyteller, and the casting for this “X-Men” prequel has been first rate.

2. Larry Crowne – Tom Hanks’ second directorial debut has massive shoes to fill. “That Thing You Do!” remains one of my all-time favorite films, and the premise behind Hanks’ next picture sounds modern, relevant and compelling.

1. We Bought a Zoo – Cameron Crowe has to rebound after the mediocre “Elizabethtown,” and teaming with Matt Damon to tell the story of a man who moves his family to rural England to run a zoo sounds like a step in the right direction.

And that doesn’t even touch on “Cowboys & Aliens,” “Cars 2,” the “Harry Potter” conclusion, Terrence Malick’s “The Tree of Life,” “Moneyball,” Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo Cabret” in 3D, Steven Spielberg’s “War Horse” … yeah, 2011 sounds like it’s going to be an exciting year.

Are you annoyed of Dexter’s latest Season Finale?

There are many people who shared different comment about the season finale of Dexter Season 5. How about you? What is your comment about it?

The response to the season finale of "Dexter" on Sunday night is confidently separated into different camps: fans who were irritated and people who loathed it. I don't really fall in either of the two camps. The season was extremely robust in my mind, and "Dexter" positively remains one of the best shows on television, but the reactions of other people who have negative comments about the finale annoyed me.

Here are some of the negative comments about the finale. They were saying…

First, can somebody clarify how it was possible for Deb to so rapidly figure out about the camp where Jordan took Lumen captive? Deb encounters the non-English-speaking fruit vendor, who advices her off to the disturbing prisoner-in-the-back sounds coming from Jordan's car. Then, presto, Deb is pretty much at the decrepit old camp where Eugene Greer became the satanic Jordan Chase. Color me jumbled. It all transpired unpleasantly quick and felt disordered, plot-wise.

I won't mention another because I believe this people are just nothing to do with their lives.

Whatever they say, I strongly believed that the Season 5 finale was a very wonderful end of the season 5 and a great opener for the season six.

Dexter is still hot for me and never been annoying!

‘Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Camille Grammer not dating yet

Although Kelsey Grammer quickly moved on from Camille Grammer, it seems the ‘Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star will not be doing the same.

Taylor Armstrong, Camille’s castmate, believes that Camille is not at all ready to begin dating again, states UsMagazine.com. “As far as setting Camille up, I’m going to have to let her be the guide on that one,” Taylor said about waiting until Camille is ready to get back in the dating scene.

But when Camille is ready to go, Taylor revealed that she will be there for her every step of the way.

Who do you think Camille Grammer should date?

'Glee' Named TV Show Of The Year

The Fox musical-comedy Glee has been named TV Show of the Year by gay entertainment .

In announcing the winner, Greg Hernandez said it was a tight race between Glee and the ABC Sunday night comedy Modern Family.

“Still, Glee continued to move, entertain and inspire me in season 2 as much as it did in its first year – if not more,” just touched my LGBT heart more often than did Modern Family and far more than any other show on television, although I'm encouraged by the Teddy storyline on 90210 and continue to appreciate Scotty and Kevin on Brothers & Sisters.”

Hernandez praised the show for turning Chris Colfer's gay character into a bullied teen.

“With the bullying epidemic in our country making the lives of gay kids a living hell and leading some to kill themselves, I can't think of a more important storyline on television this year,” he said.

“It's for that and so many other reasons why Glee wins the Greggy for TV Show of the Year!”

'Glee' Roundup: What to Do While You Wait for 'Glee' to Come Back, Part 3

'Glee' Roundup: What to Do While You Wait for 'Glee' to Come Back, Part 3

Feeling as anxious as Emma while you await the return of your favorite teen musical-comedy-drama?

Here are some fun little Glee bits to keep you busy while your TV continues its long winter nap.
And while you're at it, check out Parts 1 and 2 of this ongoing series.

1. Listen to Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone" and prepare for your Blaine-Kurt fan fic to finally become a (fictional) reality in the Glee Valentine's Day episode. Reports TV Guide: "The two will be crooning Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone" outside a Gap store as Blaine prepares to profess his love." If they mean his love for affordable jeans, I will be very upset. Chris Colfer is still doing his part to vaguely fan the romance fire: "There might be a development," hints Chris." There MIGHT be a DEVELOPMENT! Not a promise, but we'll take it. The lyrics certainly support that romance will be in the air at the Gap that day:

2. Watch this video of the making of Matthew Morrison's upcoming album
, get a little weirded out by his goatee and then decide whether you'll buy this new songs-for-older-people album or just stick with his "young and poppy" Glee covers, thank-you-very-much.

What's Coming for 'Chuck' in 2011

Missing Chuck? Having trouble weathering the weeks until the show returns in mid-January? Need a little something to keep you going until our favorite spies head back to the Buy More? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then here are some spoilers about Chuck in 2011.

New episodes of the spy comedy return on January 17 with "Chuck vs. the Balcony." SpoilerTV has posted a very brief synopsis of the episode, indicating that much of the action will take place in France. Chuck and Sarah will be at a vineyard trying to track down a computer chip while desperately attempting some non-lethal romance. It's likely that they won't succeed, but the effort should be entertaining. Meanwhile, Big Mike will be on hand in Burbank to dole out love advice to an unlikely recipient: Lester.

The next espionage outing will be in "Chuck vs. the Gobbler," in which Chuck will re-face a villain named Yuri the Gobbler (played, according to IMDb by football player, Matthew Willig). Yuri previously appeared way back in season 1's "Chuck vs. the Tango."

The 13th episode of season 4 was the final episode originally ordered by NBC and therefore will most likely feature a major event: the birth of Baby Awesome. Entitled "Chuck vs. the Push Mix," we have to wonder if Devon will create an awesome delivery-room music mix for Ellie?

According to IMDb and Chuck, the 14th and 15th episodes of this season will be "Chuck vs. the Seduction Impossible" and "Chuck vs. the Cat Squad," respectively. While the impossible seduction remains a mystery (Could it maybe, possibly be some more of Lester's romance? Please?), the Cat Squad is expected to refer to a Charlie's Angels-esque group of beautiful female operatives.

While there is no word yet on the subject, we can also expect the return of Mary Bartowski and her arms-dealing devotee, Alexei Volkoff. Hopefully, they will be back soon. And often. In the meantime, however, it looks like there is an intriguing 2011 to come for Chuck.

What do you want to see on Chuck in 2011? Let us know in the comments section below!

As detailed in our 90210 review, this CW drama made the decision to turn two of its main characters into cheaters on "Holiday Madness."

Will that remain the case when the series returns with new episodes on January 24? Based on the following preview, the answer is obvious.

Gossip Girl Round Table: "The Townie"

Welcome back to the weekly showGossip Girl Round Table, where our panel breaks down the previous night's episode .

1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from last night?

Gossip Guy: Just 'cause I feel bad for for my cheap shot at Man Bangs last week, I'll give it to him for informing his dad orange was out of style. It was cute and got a laugh out of us both.

Mister Meester: Damien, after Eric's comment about recruiting virginal drug mules, replying that he'd ask if he's available, but he's gotta run. He was great last night.

DANdy: The show saved the best, funniest and perhaps most subtle for last: I laughed out loud when Chuck bid everyone farewell with "So long, friends... Dan."

GG RT Logo

2. Which is looser, Lily's morals or Ostroff Center security?

Gossip Guy: Hidden option three: Serena.

Mister Meester: Lily has no soul. Even if you can defend what she did and consider Ben collateral damage in her quest to help her daughter (and that's a stretch), she lied to Chuck's face. Multiple times. This is her late husband's son, a young man who loves her and looks to her as the only family he has. That's what really struck me.

DANdy: Pretty sure Serena volunteered herself as the answer here when she admitted to sleeping with multiple guys in the same night, multiple times.

3. Was Serena right to let Juliet off the hook?

Gossip Guy: Definitely. I don't see what the big deal is. All the girl ever did was drug her and leave her in an unsavory neighborhood after withdrawing her from an Ivy League college and possibly ruining all her close relationships.

Mister Meester: I think she handled it well. Not only did Serena sympathize with Juliet and Ben, she likely realized her own role in his demise. She didn't sign an affidavit, but her behavior contributed to the gossip Lily used to ruin him.

DANdy: Yes. Two wrongs don't make a right, remember? Or, in this case, 67 wrongs, a few questionable decisions, dozens of confusing twists and a handful of flashbacks don't.

A Lil Pic

PUBLIC ENEMY #1: Lily messed with the wrong Basstard(s).

4. Will Jack help Chuck save Bass Industries?

Gossip Guy: Without a Blair to receive in payment? I doubt it.

Mister Meester: Jack has been an awesome character from the start, with his only drawback being inherent - he's been at odds with his nephew, who everyone loves. Just imagine the evil machinations of Bart's brother and son working together. If I were Lily, I'd grab the keys to the Lincoln Hawk van and just peace out of New York now.

DANdy: Absolutely. These two might not get along, but they have one thing in common: unabashed greed. When it comes to revenge, these two won't be Bassful about how they go about reclaiming what is rightfully their family's.

5. Blair and Dan: Should they get it on?!?!

Gossip Guy: Could you find a bigger Dair fan than me? I'm sure some of you joined the dark side with me when you saw how cute they were on their road trip. Plus, there's no aphrodisiac like French documentaries about orangutans.

Mister Meester: Do I want to see more Dan and Blair adventures? Absolutely. That was some of the funniest banter of the season so far, and even grew sweet by the end as they reluctantly agreed to hang out by choice. Sexually, though? I don't see it ... yet.

DANdy: No way. I'm putting a ban on any Ban talk right here and now. Even the thought of these two in the same movie theater grosses me out.

BONUS: What do you think Vanessa was up to this week?

Gossip Guy: Hopefully wearing raccoon makeup and starting a terrible band. I think that's what happens when your character gets banished.

Mister Meester: Sending out letters seeking grants to study climate change in the Maldives. Seems like something Vanessa would be interested in, and if she misses the last flight out before the ice caps melt and the ocean engulfs that island nation, no big deal.

DANdy: Her eyeballs in uselessness!

The Simpsons Review: "The Fight Before Christmas"

For this year's Christmas special, The Simpsons went with its "Treehouse of Horrors" style format and divided "The Fight Before Christmas" into four stories.

Yes, if you want to get technical, the Horrors series always has three. And double yes, we realize the Simpsons has even already adapted this format for a previous Holiday episode. And so has Groeming's Futurama just two weeks ago. Geesh, stop complaining.

Martha Stewart on The Simpsons

While the episode certainly didn't have the magic of the Halloween specials nor even past Christmas specials, some of the stories were at least unique, creative and entertaining. We'll keep these review simple and just rate each of the segments for the total rating:

Bart's Polar Express. Bart's adventure aboard Otto's pot-powered Polar Express to the North Pole was easily the strongest of the four stories. Bart working the corporate ladder of the elf world? Pirate teddy bears? Krusty and the Jewish clown Santa? It all came together for a very entertaining funny segment easily worth of 2 stars towards the total.

Lisa's Inglorious Basterds. Like most of Lisa's adventures, her little World War II story was mostly full of heart and a little less of the jokes than her big brother's outing. At least the idea of Marge going to war while Homer stayed at home and sent seductive post cards had us laughing. Plus the extremely random, funny Inglorious Basterds ending helped earned this segment 1 star for the total.

Marge's Martha Stewart Christmas. Unfortunately this segment was one mildly funny joke painfully extended into an entire story. One Martha Stewart joke could have made us laugh, but dragging her out ruined this bit for us. Yeah, we realize the irony after complaining how little the guest stars were used last week. Who cares cause it's our arbitrary rating system and we're taking away 1 star.

Katy Perry's Muppets. Unlike the other three, this short ending segment didn't really begin with a character's dream and just bounced right into its muppet action. They certainly had some funny jokes at the muppets expense and broke the fourth wall plenty of times in a funny, cheesy way. Plus, did we mention live action Katy Perry showed up and mocked her Sesame Street appearance by flaunting her boobs? While those alone could have earned this segment a half star each, it was Moe's ridiculously inappropriate performance of cunnilingus on her that won us over. We're giving it a wildly inappropriate 1.5 stars for The Simpsons trying to push the envelope for once. Take that Sesame Street. Call us Katy.

'Glee' rocks 'The X Factor' with 'Don't Stop Believin'

If there was any doubt New Directions could still kill with Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’”, just watch their live performance last night on Britain’s The X Factor. While Mark Salling had the best entrance (pelvic thrust!), Amber Riley stole the show by standing right in Simon Cowell’s face and belting out a couple of high notes. You may recall hearing that Riley once tried out for American Idol — and was rejected by producers, so she didn’t even get to sing in front of the judges.

Dexter Watch: Hop A Freighter

Dexter Watch: Hop A Freighter I had a feeling tonight’s episodes of Dexter would be a lot of build-up and sure enough, we were left with a couple of big, gaping cliffhangers to torture ourselves with until the finale next Sunday.

The situation with Liddy collided with Dexter and Lumen’s pursuit of Jordan Chase tonight. Meanwhile, Deb has almost all the pieces of this mess put together. The only one she’s missing is Dexter.

Liddy's story started messy, played out messy and so I doubt any of us are surprised that it ended messy. With his union appeal shot down, Liddy’s a man with little to lose. He thought if he could serve Dexter to the cops on a platter, it would be enough to get them to reconsider canning him and revoking his penchant. Of course, Quinn wanted nothing more to do with it. We saw tonight that he really is serious about Deb. It seems that finding a woman who can handle him, call him out on his b.s. and not play games ranks higher to him than following a hunch on Dexter, even after seeing the photos of Dexter and Lumen dumping stuff at the marina.

Dexter figured out that he was being watched and traced the surveillance equipment back to Quinn. He didn’t realize it was Liddy who was following him until Liddy jumped him, restrained him and hauled him in a van to a pier to wait for Quinn. It’s not often that someone sneaks up on Dexter and certainly not when Dexter thought he was doing the sneaking but it happened tonight. Fortunately, Dexter has a quick mind and managed to attack Liddy in the van just as the ex-cop was trying to get him to record a confession to go with the video tapes. Wrestling ensued and ended with Dexter stabbing Liddy with his own knife. Quinn showed up just as blood was trickling from the van but when Liddy didn’t respond from inside the van, he left, taking a drop of the man’s blood with him.

So, Liddy’s dead, which was inevitable, but this is where it gets really interesting. Dexter now knows that Quinn knows at least some of what’s going on. When Liddy’s body is found, Quinn may deduce that Dexter knows what’s going on. Dexter knows that Quinn knows and Quinn knows that Dexter knows. Is there going to be some major conversation in their future?

Also, when Dexter was sneaking up on the van, he said (to himself), “I never wanted it to come to this.” Was he planning on killing Quinn? We all know the first rule is “Don’t get caught,” but does that mean killing a relatively innocent man to protect himself? He went through all of this in Season 2 with Doakes and eventually settled on letting Doakes take the rap for the Bay Harbor Butcher bodies. As much as I didn’t want to see Dexter get caught, I wasn’t in love with the idea of him pinning his crimes on someone else (no matter how unlikable Doakes was). That situation resolved itself (thanks to crazy-Lila). How will this one resolve?

My theory on how Dexter deals with Quinn is similar to my theory on how Quinn deals with Dexter. He doesn’t. Maybe that’s too optimistic but, if Quinn survives this (and I really, really hope he does), I’d like to think that Deb is the common denominator in the equation. Both of them love her. Neither of them would want to hurt her by going after the other and if Dexter thought that Quinn was really going to walk away from his pursuit, perhaps he’d be willing to do the same if it meant not seeing Deb hurt and disappointed. Again, too optimistic?

Moving on. Liddy wasn’t the only character to die tonight. Jordan lost the last of his (known) puppets tonight when he bludgeoned Emily in a fit of rage with a fireplace poker. This came after he used Emily to lure Lumen to her house. Dexter was supposed to be with her but he was off dealing with Liddy at the time. Jordan’s made it far in his crimes without getting actual blood on his hands but that ended tonight when he killed Emily. He made off with Lumen, who, judging from the trail of blood and the knife she left behind, was putting up a fight. Dexter made it to the house to find Emily’s body and enough clues to know that Jordan took Lumen somewhere.

I know I’ve spoken of my hope that Lumen would survive this season and up until tonight, I believed she would but now I’m not so sure. It wasn’t the way things ended for her tonight that has me worried about her fate. I think we all knew she and Jordan Chase were going to cross paths again. It was seeing her and Dexter curled up on the floor, snuggling and planning their next move that had me thinking she’s a goner. I just don’t see a happily-ever-after scenario for them. So, either she survives and lives to walk away (to return to her life or rebuild a life for herself away from Dexter), or she dies. The biggest problem with the latter option is how it will affect Dexter. If ever there was a chance to redeem himself for Rita’s death, it’s now. Losing Lumen may very well undo him.

And on a random side-note before we move on, I thought it appropriate that instead of buying Lumen a piece of jewelry as a token of their budding romance, Dexter bought her a little knife to put in her purse.

Finally, Deb is hot on Jordan Chase’s trail. After a visit to the dead Dentist’s wife, who I’m pretty sure was the girl that gives Seth Green a dirty look in Can’t Hardly Wait (she may have other notable roles but that’s the girl I pictured when I saw Mrs. Dentist’s face tonight), they learned that Jordan Chase changed his name and possibly got plastic surgery. Learning he changed his name allowed them to find the connection between Chase and the other guys and confirm that he’s somehow involved in the barrel-girls’ murders. Deb also figured out that one of the victims survived and is killing off her attackers and that she probably has help. The only thing she doesn’t know is that Dexter is the one doing the helping.

Deb decided not to go through LaGuerta to get the court order to keep Chase from leaving town after she expressed doubt in Deb’s vigilante theory. It was beyond irritating to see LaGuerta question Deb about the decision and then semi-smugly hand over the court order she got after Deb’s request was denied. It’s not as though LaGuerta’s established a good line of trust between herself and Deb. Sure, situations aren’t black and white but when you pin your own mistakes on someone else, it shouldn’t be difficult to see why that person wouldn’t trust you.

What are the predictions for next week’s finale? I think it’s fair to say that there will be blood. There always is. And I’d be genuinely surprised if Jordan Chase managed to walk away but after last season’s finale, I think it’s also safe to say that no one is untouchable.
