Supernatural – Season 8 – Casting News – DJ Qualls Returning

While promoting his new show on FX, Legit, at the TCA Summer Press Tour, Qualls confirmed he’ll be heading back to Vancouver in a few weeks for another adventure as supernatural hunter, Garth Fitzgerald IV.

“I’ll go back to Supernatural in a couple of weeks. It’s one of my favorite shows to moonlight on. Jared Padalecki is a really good buddy of mine and also they wrote the part for me. ”

And that’s kind of an honor when somebody calls you and says, Hey, we wrote this for you. You probably are not going to do it. I read it and I said, No, this is funny and I’d love to do it. And I’m having a great time.

The fans on that show are insane. I did one [a convention] in Birmingham, England. And literally people would just line up and hug you and cry. And it’s like, I am so boring in real life. This is really flattering, but you should see me ten minutes before I got here. I was like a wreck. They love it. 

Legit is a new FX comedy starring Australian comic Jim Jefferies, Dan Bakkedahl and DJ Qualls. Legit will be on the FX schedule in January of 2013.

‘Supernatural’ Season 7 Finale Preview: Take Down Dick or Die Trying

Sam and Dean are having their one stake at killing Dick Roman in “Supernatural” next week. The Winchesters prepare for the big battle as the leader of Leviathans is in the final phase of his plan.

To stop Dick, the Winchesters must team up with Castiel, Bobby, Meg and the young prophet Kevin. However, Dick is one of the smartest enemies they’ve ever faced so it’s a mind game to see who can keep the upper hand.

“Dick’s not an idiot. He knows what you two are after,” so Crowley warns the two brothers. Meanwhile, Dean’s last message for Sam before they embark on the risky mission is “don’t get killed.”

Titled “Survival of the fittest“, the season 7 finale of “Supernatural” will air Friday, May 18 at 9/8c on The CW. Misha Collins, Jim Beaver, Rachel Miner and Osric Chau guest star in the episode.

Supernatural – Season 7 – Felicia Day to guest star

Supernatural Season 7 : Executive producer Sera Gamble tells TVGuide.com exclusively that Felicia Day will guest-star on the April 27 episode titled “The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo.” “We were so stoked that she agreed to do the episode because we’re all fan girls and boys here,” Gamble says.

“Felicia plays a girl named Charlie who is sort of a lowly tech working in one of Dick Roman’s companies,” says Gamble. “She’s an amateur computer hacker and unwittingly gets wrapped up in Sam and Dean’s problems. It’s a classic story of an everyday girl who does not want to be in a whistleblower position.”
