Kristen Stewart: I Would Do 'Snow White and the Huntsman' Sequel 'in a Heartbeat'
"Snow White and the Huntsman"
is still days away from its theatrical release in the U.S., but Kristen
Stewart
has already gushed about the possibility of her working on its sequel.
Speaking to E! News, the 22-year-old actress admitted that she looks
forward to making another "Snow White" movie.
"I would do it in a heartbeat," the Los Angeles-born beauty enthused. "I know with the people involved it would only be done [because] it's very worthwhile and it's a good movie." She added, "We wouldn't just be cashing in."
Stewart went on admitting that doing "Snow White and the Huntsman" was not as stressful as working on the "Twilight Saga" film franchise because she didn't have to sign any contract to return to the follow-up movie. "We don't have to do it," she said. "That's the coolest thing. There's no pressure. But to be able to expand on this would be awesome."
During the chat, the brunette beauty confessed that she wasn't even a fan of Snow White tale when she was younger. "I wasn't into any of the princess ones, which I'm sure isn't much of a surprise," she said. "I loved The Jungle Book and Robin Hood and stuff more like that."
Though so, the "On the Road" actress revealed that she had watched Snow White movie before she began filming the Rupert Sanders-directed fantasy flick. "I had to rewatch it before we went off to shoot. Not so much as a reference, but more for fun," she admitted.
"Snow White and the Huntsman" offers a twisted story of the classic Brother Grimm tale. This movie features the fair-skinned princess as a tough woman who fights and defends herself against Evil Queen Ravenna under the guidance of the Huntsman, who was initially hired to kill her.
Discussing her warrioress character with Interview magazine, Stewart recently said, "There's so much about Snow White has been deprived of in terms of having the proper time to really develop and hone who she is."
"She's put in jail at the beginning of her life, so she's a stunted person," she added. "She has a really idealized concept of what the world is... and there is this debilitating isolation that she feels because she has been locked away in a little cell for seven years. And I can kind of relate to that."
Also starring Charlize Theron as Ravenna and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman, "Snow White and the Huntsman" will make its way out onto cinemas nationwide on June 1. In anticipation of the film's release, Universal Pictures unveils another clip from the pic via MTV. It shows Snow White revealing her identity as the King's daughter when she's held captive by the Dwarves.

'Moonrise Kingdom' Breaks Indie Box Office Record
Wes Anderson's latest indie movie "Moonrise
Kingdom"
has unexpectedly broken a record on the North American box office. The
vintage drama, which was released in limited U.S. theaters last Friday,
May 25, has also received rave reviews from critics and got a 96% rating
on Rotten Tomatoes.
While big-budgeted films were battling it out at cinemas nationwide, "Moonrise Kingdom" surprisingly made history on box office as it collected $660,486 over the four-day Memorial Day weekend despite the fact that it opened at only four theaters in Los Angeles and New York. By Sunday, the movie already bagged a per-location average of $130,752.
Distributor Focus Features claimed that the result was the highest average ever for a non-animated and indie feature film. The record was previously held by 2006's "Dreamgirls", which debuted with an average of $126,317 at three cinemas. Following the success, Focus has planned to expand the film to several hundred theaters through June.
Aside from breaking a box office record, the drama quickly became critics' darling after it was first introduced at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. As highlighted by CBS News, the pic has been dubbed "the best film since 1998's 'Rushmore' " by USA Today. E! News agreed as stating, "The delightful 'Moonrise Kingdom' marks a career high for offbeat auteur Wes Anderson."
New York Times, meanwhile, wrote, " 'Moonrise Kingdom' breezes along with a beautifully coordinated admixture of droll humore, deadpan and slapstick." The Wall Street Journal called the movie "beguiling and endearing."
Slate magazine added, "A gorgeously shot, ingeniously crafted, uber-Andersonian bonbon that, even in its most irritatingly whimsical moments, remains an effective deliverer of cinematic pleasure."
"Moonrise Kingdom" is set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965. It follows Sam and Suzy as they fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore, and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle.
Lining up in the cast ensemble are Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Jason Schwartzman, Lucas Hedges, Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Kara Hayward and Bob Balaban.

Nigel Lythgoe Annoyed With FOX’s Boss for Criticizing ‘American Idol’ Ratings Dip
Though “American Idol”
is ranked the second most-watched program of the 2011-2012 TV season,
Nigel Lythgoe still has to defend the show’s ratings decline. FOX’s
entertainment president Kevin Reilly recently told reporters that the
show’s season 11 ratings dipped “more than anticipated,” and Lythgoe
admits he’s shocked to hear that.
Arguing that FOX’s line-up, which has more than
one singing competition, plays role in the ratings decline, the English
TV producer tells TVLine, “We always stayed away from [airing] two
seasons of ‘American Idol [per calendar year], knowing that ratings
would dip, and the public would get tired. It’s just the very nature of
offering the audience too much [of a particular thing].”
“Now, if you’re going to do ‘The X Factor (US)’ on the same [network] as ‘American Idol’, that’s like two ‘American Idols’ back-to-back. So, yes, I’m shocked that they thought that the ratings wouldn’t dip,” he further explains. “Plus, ‘The Voice’ is in the mix now, too. There’s just a lot more on offer today, and kids don’t always watch the television anymore. The world has changed in the 11 years that we’ve been doing this.”
Responding to Reilly’s criticism that “Idol” should’ve made more creative tweaks, Lythgoe says, “When Kevin says we’ve got to do new things next year, what are the changes? The format is a very simple format. Kids audition for us. Their talent is what brings people in to watch the show. Do we change the format? Maybe we should do it under water while basket weaving?”
The creator of “So You Think You Can Dance” adds, “It surprises me that there’s some kind of challenge to the producers to make it more exciting. What do they think we do? Sit on our asses not worrying about the show?… I get very annoyed with people, especially executives that should know what they’re talking about, making statements like that, to be frank with you.”
On the fact that “white guy with guitar” won the show in the last few seasons, Lythgoe says, “There’s nothing you can do about it.” He goes on offering a possible solution, “When you say to America, you vote, the only thing that can be changed is the voting system. And I would hope that next year we would look at that.”

Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow Is So Different From the ‘Smallville’ Incarnation
Though “Arrow” will air on the
same network where “Smallville”
ran, the titular character on the upcoming show will be very much
different from the one portrayed by Justin Hartley on
the canceled Superman series. “Other than in name, there are virtually
no similarities between [Hartley's version and the new version],” so
said Stephen Amell who tackles the lead role on “Arrow”.
Still, the Canadian actor who recently guest
starred as Kyle on “New Girl” stressed that he’s not saying one of them
is better than the other. “It’s just that they’re so different, it’s
almost weird to compare them,” he said before detailing, “I think we
find Oliver Queen more injured than we saw him before.”
The 31-year-old hunk went on hinting that Superman aka Clark Kent, who’s the major character on “Smallville”, won’t make appearance on his show. “Nobody in our universe has super powers, so that’s a big jumping off point,” he claimed.
Executive producer David Nutter who directed “Arrow” pilot had said that the new show is aimed to be darker and harder-edged than “Smallville”, where Green Arrow previously appeared. He gushed, “We’re creating a real, believable world in which Oliver Queen can do incredible things.”
Joining the cast ensemble are Katie Cassidy, Colin Donnell, David Ramsey and many others. The action, drama series will air every Wednesday at 8 P.M. ET starting this fall.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ Final Results: Donald Driver Defeats the Frontrunners
“Dancing with the
Stars” has crowned Donald Driver and his pro partner Peta
Murgatroyd as the champions of season 14. The NFL wide receiver beat out

while Donald and Peta danced the cha-cha. Each pair earned 30 points
from the judges.
After the scores were combined with audience’s votes, it was revealed that Donald nabbed the first place. “This is awesome,” so the Green Bay Packers star said when asked how he felt about his win.

The Closer – Season 7 – Final Six Episodes – Press Release & Descriptions
The Closer Season 7 :
TNT’s Landmark Series The Closer Reaches Powerful Conclusion With Six
Final Episodes, Beginning Monday, July 9
Series Finale to Air Monday, August 13, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), Followed by the Launch of New Series Major Crimes
For seven memorable seasons, Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson and the LAPD’s Major Crimes unit have closed some of television’s most intriguing, mind-bending and surprising cases. This summer, Johnson and her team will face their last cases together as TNT airs the final six episodes of the record-breaking blockbuster series The Closer. The acclaimed series, starring EmmyÃ’ winner Kyra Sedgwick, will return Monday, July 9, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) with all-new episodes, leading to the unforgettable series finale on Monday, August 13, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).
The endearing Brenda Leigh Johnson, seamlessly brought to life by Sedgwick, has brilliantly solved puzzles, interrogated criminals, elicited confessions and closed complex cases for more than seven years with vigor, wit and a whole lot of southern charm. The dedicated detectives working under her have investigated their way through mishaps and successes, creating an indelible cast of characters that have engaged audiences since the beginning.
In addition to Sedgwick, The Closer’s extraordinary Screen Actors Guild AwardÃ’–nominated cast includes Jon Tenney as Brenda’s husband, FBI Special Agent Fritz Howard, who worries the stress of the job may be too much for her; J.K. Simmons as interim Police Chief Will Pope, whose career has undergone several seismic shifts; Corey Reynolds as Brenda’s right-hand man, Detective Sergeant David Gabriel; Robert Gossett as Commander Taylor, whose role in the department is constantly being redefined; G.W. Bailey as Lieutenant Provenza, a seasoned veteran who serves as Brenda’s second in command, despite a record of embarrassing blunders; Tony Denison as Lieutenant Andy Flynn, whose sarcastic comments have frequently landed him in sticky situations; Michael Paul Chan as the squad’s tech guru, Lieutenant Mike Tao, whose obsessive attention to detail can try his colleagues’ patience; Raymond Cruz as gang expert Detective Julio Sanchez, who often allows his emotions to get the better of him; and Phillip P. Keene as audio-visual technician Buzz Watson, who demands the utmost respect for the department’s equipment.
Two-time Oscar® nominee Mary McDonnell joined The Closer as a regular cast member last summer in the role of Captain Sharon Raydor, the role that had previously earned her an Emmy® nomination as a guest star. McDonnell will continue to play Raydor in TNT’s new series Major Crimes, which is slated to premiere August 13, right after The Closer’s series finale.
As The Closer winds down with its final six episodes, Brenda thinks she has finally cornered her longtime nemesis, lawyer and suspected rapist and murderer Philip Stroh, played by returning guest star Billy Burke. Brenda has been haunted for years by her obsession with putting Stroh behind bars, and this could be her last chance to close this open case. But her reckless fixation on Stroh could put the case – and Brenda’s career – in jeopardy.
Meanwhile, Capt. Raydor (McDonnell) and Chief Pope (Simmons) will continue investigating a mysterious leak in the department that fueled a federal lawsuit against Brenda. Although the lawsuit was eventually dropped, Pope was forced to put a new policy in place called “The Johnson Rule,” which unfairly tied Brenda’s last name to a requirement concerning the release of suspects in a dangerous environment. The new rule may have effectively ended the case against Brenda, but the new rule back-handedly incriminated her for transgressions she believes she did not commit. It also made Brenda realize that there are people in the department she simply cannot trust.
Brenda’s parents, played by guest stars Frances Sternhagen and Barry Corbin, will also make a return visit this summer, distracting Brenda further and making decisions about her future with the department all the more difficult. In addition, Jon Tenney will take a turn in the director’s chair when he helms a light-hearted episode airing July 16. The episode will introduce viewers to Lieutenant Provenza’s first ex-wife, Liz (guest star Diedre O’Connell), who ropes her former husband into helping recover her wedding ring from a shady gold buyer. But Provenza will once again find himself stuck in a professionally embarrassing situation, this time involving a robbery, a felony murder and an evidence-swallowing dog.
Since its premiere in 2005, The Closer has garnered numerous ad-supported cable viewership records, including being the only series in cable history to rank #1 for five consecutive years. In its seventh season so far, the show is averaging 8.3 million viewers.
The Closer is produced for TNT by The Shephard/Robin Company, in association with Warner Bros. Television. The series was created by James Duff, who serves as executive producer with Greer Shephard, Michael M. Robin, Kyra Sedgwick and Rick Wallace. The show is produced by Andrew J. Sacks. Gil Garcetti, Los Angeles district attorney from 1992 to 2000, serves as consulting producer

‘American Idol’ Final Performances: Jessica and Phillip Debut Winner’s Songs
Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips were
battling it out for the champion title of “American Idol”
season 11 on Tuesday, May 22. These Top 2 finalists sang three songs,
one was chosen by executive producer Simon Fuller, another was
self-chosen, and the third was the winner’s song.
Per Fuller’s request, Jessica covered Whitney
Houston’s “I Have Nothing” in round 1, while Phillip sang “Stand by Me”
by Benny King. Calling it “a battle of the opposites,” Jennifer Lopez
said, “At the end of the day America has a tough job.” Randy
Jackson said the first round won by Jessica.
In round 2, Jessica reprised her performance of “The Prayer” by Celine Dion, the song of which she sang before entering the Top 24. As for Phillip, he chose to sing Billy Joel’s “Movin’ Out” again. Steven Tyler said, “Jessica took this round again,” but J.Lo disagreed and said the second round belonged to Phillip. Randy, meanwhile, said, “I think that round was a dead heat, even.”
Jessica later sang the song that she will record if she wins the show. It’s a ballad entitled “Change Nothing”. The judges didn’t like the song, but Randy said Jessica “made something more out of the song” and “brought the song to life.” J.Lo further advised her, “I did not think your first single was going to be pop, but you will make many records and you need to say this is not me.”
Phillip’s original song was called “Home” which fits his voice well. “I love the song, I love you, everything about that was perfect, that was your best performance of the night, a true artist, I love it, brilliant genius,” Randy gushed. Steven added, “By virtue of your sound and style, you were perfect tonight, you are the man.”
The final performance show was wrapped up with Scotty McCreery’s performance of “Please Remember Me”. Earlier that night, Jason Derulo also took the stage to sing “Undefeated”.
“Idol” will return Wednesday, May 23 with the announcement of the winner. Aerosmith and Rihanna are billed as musical performers.

‘House M.D.’ Boss Explains the Mysteries in Series Finale
“House
M.D.” series finale which aired on Monday, May 21 left
some burning questions for fans. While viewers might be relieved to see
the titular character staying alive after he was trapped in a burning
building, some might be wondering how the titular character survived the
floor collapsing on him and the subsequent explosion.
Addressing this mystery, creator David Shore
told TVLine, “It was supposed to be ambiguous as to whether the floor
collapsed on him or in front of him; certainly it was nasty stuff. There
are a few seconds between the collapse and the explosion. He narrowly
got out the back.”
When pressed with question whether it’s possible for a limp man like House to escape that quickly, Shore said to TV Guide, “It was certainly intended to make the audience believe it’s going to be very, very difficult for him to get out.” He went on explaining, “It certainly would have been tricky for him to get out, but we don’t have a full understanding of the geography of the interior. It was supposed to be almost impossible, but possible.”
As for how the fire in the abandoned building started, the writer revealed, “It’s actually alluded to. There was more about it in the original cut of the episode. There is a reference to the fact that the guy fell asleep while smoking. That’s how he got the burns on his chest. He presumably passed out while on heroin and dropped the cigarette and the fire started.”
Also in the series finale, Foreman was smiling when finding House’s nametag under his table. Asked if that meant Foreman knew his former boss was still alive, Shore coyly answered, “The notion is that Foreman had pieced it together and figured it out.”
Of whether he ever considered to kill House in the last episode, Shore said, “Everything was on the table.” He, however, thought that “the idea of people thinking that House is dead is a weird thing to leave people with. It ultimately felt better to have him out there with Wilson doing who knows what.”
Though he keeps House alive, Shore is not willing to picture the doctor’s future once his best friend Wilson dies. “That’s way down the road. And that’s not what it was about,” he insisted. “The story is the story. And the story ends when the story ends.”
While many of the series’ former major characters returned, even in a form of hallucinations, to pay final visit, Lisa Edelstein’s Cuddy was not present in the final episode. “I wanted her to come back, but we weren’t able to make that happen,” Shore claimed, revealing that the ex-girlfriend of House might’ve done something to what Sela Ward’s Stacy did.

‘Bahelorette’ Recap: Emily Tearfully Dumps a Guy During One-on-One Date
After meeting her suitors in last week’s
episode, Emily Maynard went on dates with some lucky
guys in the second episode of “The Bachelorette”
season 8. First to receive the date card was Ryan. He and Emily drove
off to her house, where he helped bake cookies for her daughter Ricki’s
soccer game. They later dropped off the cookies to the soccer field, but
Emily asked Ryan to stay in the car.
Emily and Ryan continued their date with a
romantic dinner, where the single mother told him, “I don’t want to be
the game.” Ryan, in turn, wanted to know if she’s going to allow “a man
to come in and really treat Ricki the same way that he’s going to treat
the other children that he’s going to have” with her. At the end of the
day, Emily found the date to be perfect and gave Ryan the rose.
Next, Emily went for a group date with 13 guys, including Jef, Chris, John and Alessandro. They did a charity show with The Muppets to benefit The Ricky Hendrick Centers for Intensive Care at the Levine Children’s Hospital. Charlie admitted to Emily he didn’t think he could do a sketch because he had a speech issue as a result of an accident. Emily understood and they agreed he could dance instead.
During the performance, Emily almost landed a kiss on Kermit but Miss Piggy interrupted them. Emily later invited her daughter Ricki onto the stage and they sang “Rainbow Connection” together. They managed to raise $20,000 from the event.
After the charity show, Emily got to talk with the guys. Kalon interrupted when Emily was dancing with Stevie, before Aaron interrupted Stevie and Emily. Kalon complained to the other guys and he started arguing with Stevie. When it’s time to give the date rose, Emily picked Jef.
For the second one-on-one date, Emily and Joe jetted off to the Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia, which was very “close” to Emily’s heart. They had a dinner and started talking about what they wanted in life, but Emily still didn’t feel a connection with him. She cried when telling Joe that she didn’t feel she and Ricki fit in his life. Joe realized he had to walk out of the show.
Back at the mansion, the guys were shocked that Joe was not returning. Trying to get close to Emily, Ryan wrote a long poem for Emily. Tony had to wait for a quite long time before he got his turn to spend some time with Emily.
At the rose ceremony, Emily gave the roses to Kalon, Arie, Michael, Nate, Sean, Chris, Doug, Travis, Tony, John, Alessandro, Charlie, Alejnadro and Stevie. Meanwhile, Aaron and Kyle were sent home.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ star Ian Somerhalder admits he was ‘devastated’ by Elena’s choice
When it comes to “The Vampire
Diaries,” we tend to remain pretty neutral in terms of the
Damon vs. Stefan debate. However, when Elena chose Stefan in the Season 3
finale, we we have to admit, we were very surprised — and we empathized
with the Damon/Elena fans who had been waiting years for a little
victory.
If you were bummed about Elena’s decision, you are not alone, Delena ‘shippers. Your fearless leader, a certain Ian Somerhalder, shared your heartbreak. We caught up with him last week in NYC, and when we asked him if he was shocked by the finale script, he said that wasn’t exactly the right word.
“Is shock and devastation the same?” he teased. “I think it was a mix of shock and devastation. Actually, you know what it is? It’s just a good challenge.” Uh-oh. If Ian is taking Elena’s rejection as a cue to increase the tension and heat between these two characters, we may be in for a very steamy season.
Though Ian is still Team Delena all the way, Damon will do his best to accept Elena’s choice and move on. “Here’s the good thing: he’s not pining for her, he’s not pining for Katherine, so maybe we’ll get some of that Season 1 Damon back,” he says. We always love a little return to that Season 1 swagger.
Off-screen, Ian is spending his summer touring the world and visiting fans on various continents — he’s in the Philippines right now — but he’s also tapped in to his Ian Somerhalder Foundation team as they take steps toward opening the ISF Animal Sanctuary, a safe place for animals in Louisiana. What makes Ian’s vision unique, though, is that it wouldn’t only be a home for animals, but a retreat for kids and teens who could use some guidance and new direction in their lives.
“At the end of June I’m acquiring a couple hundred acres in Louisiana on the Bayou where I grew up,” he tells us. “We’re going to literally build this incredible animal sanctuary for all these ostracized and abandoned animals with behavioral issues. Now that this whole bullying thing has become so prevalent in our society, we’re going to start taking the bully aspect of the youth. We can bring them down to this sanctuary; we can teach them compassion with these other animals that also have behavioral issues, that have also been abandoned and have all these issues with life.”
Bullies and angry youths will be asked to help care for the mistreated animals, and through with connection and a little counseling, Ian and his ISF team hope to send these troubled kids home with a new perspective on the power of love and tolerance. Meanwhile, the animals who have never known a gentle touch will finally experience some mercy.
“We’ll literally watch them learn compassion together,” Ian explains. “I think it will be really, truly an amazing sight to see, building this really incredible youth education camp. It’s also going to double on the other side of the property as a completely green sustainable agriculture farm. It is going to be this utopia of progression, education, and sustainability, and if anything, just a little taste of what our world could be like.”

Watch Degrassi Season 11 Episode 45 (11X45)‘In The Cold, Cold Night’ Online
If you have grown too old to remember your
childhood, let me tickle your dormant memories a little bit to remind
you of those oh-so-fantabulous endings to an academic session. Those
were the occasions, when the small-sized us used to be so relieved after
having undergone the stick attacks of our teachers on non-compliance of
their strict instructions to complete the homework, and also, those
most-petrifying annual exams.
After bearing so much over a semester, quiet
naturally we expected it to end fantastically. And if the classroom
lessons weathered children of the Degrassi Community School are
expecting the same, they are not laying an unreasonable demand. After
all; they do deserve to enjoy a few sighs of relief in the Degrassi
season 11 episode 45 titled, ‘In The Cold, Cold Night’
Part 2.
Unthankfully, absolutely contrary to their
expectations, the semester ending will become prickly for many. Who will
sow the seeds of disharmony is yet to be revealed.
Moreover, I have just come to know that a
dejected Fiona will give a strong thought to vacating Degrassi. To add
to the dramatic environment, Clare will be chased by a time that had
elapsed long back.
‘Breaking Bad’ Final Season Gets Premiere Date
The fifth and final season of “Breaking Bad”
is indeed going to be split into two parts. AMC has officially announced
that the last chapter of the crime drama series will start Sunday, July
15 at 10/9c with eight new episodes, and end with eight more episodes
in summer 2013.
Expressing his excitement at the show’s return,
comedian Aziz Ansari took to Twitter to write,
“BREAKING BAD IS BACK JULY 15TH! F**K YES.” Sharing the sentiment,
fellow fan John Legend retweeted the “30 Minutes or Less” star’s post.
Also on July 15, AMC will launch its new reality series “Small Town Security” right after “Breaking Bad”, at 11/10c to be exact. Later this summer, “Hell on Wheels” will return with its sophomore season on Sunday, August 12 at 9/8c.
Little is known about the upcoming season of “Breaking Bad”, but Bryan Cranston said in April, “We pick up right where we left off. We’re cleaning up the pieces from last season’s huge ordeal where Gus Fring was forced to meet his maker. It’s not as easy as Walter thought.”
He went on dishing, “And as we’ve discovered over the years, you don’t really know who Walter White is. I’m still discovering who he is and I’m trying to allow myself to be open to him going darker and darker. There’s physical danger to himself and his family, plus there’s the emotional danger due to his anger and hubris. It’s about the evil that men do and where that takes him.”

ER: Clooney doesn’t want to be? ER Episodes Online
He wants to be
famous, he wants to be appreciated, but there is one thing which he
surely never wants to be!
Well, the moment I will unveil this concealed
opinion of ER
episodes star George Clooney, you will be
stunned!
The star, who enthralled everyone with his
mesmerizing performance in the medical drama series of NBC, has recently
come out with a secret long held with him.
Ahan!
I like the way you leave all your hustle-bustle
behind, and pay you entire attention to each of the words written by
me!
I will surely live up to your expectations, and
you would certainly not find me making a mountain out of a molehill.
Well, does anyone of you have an idea about why
the actor doesn’t want to get married yet again?
Perhaps the 50-year-old actor has clinched to
the passion for his career so much that he doesn’t really seem to bother
about other social affairs.
Not only this, but our talented star also don’t
want to be a father anyway.
Ouch!
That wasn’t expected of course!
Now, if you are wondering about the reason,
then let me tell you that for George, his ultimate priority is his
career, and not any other thing.
He believes that if he ever becomes a father,
he would not be able to commit himself to his kids, and therefore he
doesn’t want to deprive his children of fatherly love.
Awe!
I don’t know whether to appreciate his stance,
or feel pity for him.
There is no second thought in admitting the
fact that the actor has committed himself to his profession, and
therefore has earned a name for himelf, but do you think that putting
his own personal life at stake for a professional career is a right act?
I surely don’t want to impose my opinion, but
of course we can have exchange of thoughts over this, at least!
Well, at last I would only want to say, May
George rises as much in her personal domain as he did in the
professional sphere.

Syfy confirmed it will not be bringing action
series Sanctuary
back for a fifth season.
The move was not a surprise, in that the show, starring Amanda Tapping (pictured, as her character, Helen Magnus) and executive produced by her, Damian Kindler and Martin Wood, was not part of the network’s recently announced upfront slate for 2012-13. Tapping recently told the blog Gateworld that the producers had released the show’s studio space in Vancouver because of the delay in ordering a new season, and that the show would not have been ready to return this fall even if Syfy had renewed it.
In a statement, Mark Stern, President, Syfy Original Content and Co-Head, Universal Cable Productions, said: “We’re honored to have been part of this incredible series. In addition to garnering unmatched devotion by fans worldwide, Sanctuary was a bona fide trailblazer, setting new standards with its highly innovative production techniques — including pioneering green screen and RED camera technology — and Emmy-nominated visual effects. It’s been an amazing ride and we look forward to our next project with Amanda Tapping, Martin Wood and Damian Kindler.”
In the statement, Kindler, Tapping and Wood said: “We couldn’t be prouder of the four seasons we made on Sanctuary. We are very grateful for the opportunity and must acknowledge the wonderful work from our cast and crew, the support from our studio, the Beedie Group — who have been with us right from the start, the networks who worked so hard with us each week, and most of all the fans…we owe so much to the fans.
The move was not a surprise, in that the show, starring Amanda Tapping (pictured, as her character, Helen Magnus) and executive produced by her, Damian Kindler and Martin Wood, was not part of the network’s recently announced upfront slate for 2012-13. House M.D. Makes Big Sacrifice in Series Finale
After eight seasons, “House M.D.” took the
final bow on Monday, May 21 with a dramatic finale. Facing the potential
of spending his time in jail while his best pal Wilson is dying, the
titular character contemplated a suicide in a burning building in the
episode titled “Everybody Dies”.
While the building was set ablaze, House had
visions of the deceased characters, Kutner (Kal Penn)
and Amber (Anne Dudek), his ex-girlfriend Stacy (Sela
Ward) as well as Cameron (Jennifer Morrison).
After some conversations with the people in his imagination, the doctor
decided not to commit suicide.
As Wilson and Foreman, who had been looking for House since early in the episode, found the burning building, it exploded in flames. Viewers were then led to believe that House died in the building. His former and present colleagues, from Masters (Amber Tamblyn) to Thirteen (Olivia Wilde), attended a funeral for him.
Wilson delivered his eulogy, but he was interrupted by a text message that read, “SHUT UP YOU IDIOT.” Wilson then learned House was still alive and that he faked his own death by switching dental records with a dead man. Wilson told him that he could face tremendous jail time and could lose his practice license for good, but the eccentric doctor simply responded, “I’m dead, Wilson. How do you want to spend your last five months?”
The scene then switched to capture other characters. Chase took over the diagnostic department, Taub played a father to his kids, and Cameron had her own baby. Back to the best buddies, they were seen riding on motorcycles into the sunset in the final scene set to 1949′s song “Enjoy Yourself (It’s Later Than You Think)”.
Fans’ reactions to the finale vary, with one tweep named Claire commenting, “As much as I hated last year’s finale, I loved the #House series finale. Great way to end a series.” Evan Rougemont wrote, “I don’t think it could have ended any better. A perfect note,” but another Twitter user named Madhu ‘MadMan’ Menon said, “Somewhat lame series finale of House. But it’s about time the show ended.”

Erin Andrews dating Chace Crawford of ‘Gossip Girl’?
Us Weekly magazine says Andrews, 34, and the 26-year-old actor have had “a couple” of dates and have been “spotted out and about at events and cozy dinners” in New York City, where the CW series is filmed. Reps for both celebrities had no immediate comment.
The two participated in satellite provider DIRECTV’s annual Celebrity Beach Bowl game in February, along with stars such as Candice Accola and Nina Dobrev, who star in the drama series “The Vampire Diaries,” which also airs on the CW. Photos of the actresses with Crawford and Andrews at the event on their Facebook pages.
Other celebrities who took part in the game were rapper Snoop Dogg, soccer star Hope Solo and actor David Arquette. The latter two stars have competed on the ABC reality show “Dancing With The Stars.” Andrews placed third on the series in 2010 with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Crawford plays New York socialite Nate Archibald on “Gossip Girl.” The show’s season 5 finale aired last week. The series has been renewed for a sixth, shortened season. Crawford also stars in the romantic comedy movie “What To Expect When You’re Expecting,” which was released on May 18. Both he and Andrews, who does not appear in the film, attended the premiere in New York City earlier this month but were not photographed together. Crawford brought his mother, Dana, to the Los Angeles premiere.

Burn Notice Star Gabrielle Anwar Shows Off Her Hot Bikini Bod In Miami!
And with Gabrielle Anwar’s incredibly toned body slipping into a tangerine two-piece, she may find herself with an increasing fan club.
The Burn Notice actress was seen taking a dip on Miami Beach as she played in the surf.
However, just below the spaghetti strap of her top, her ribs appeared to be visible, a warning sign that she doesn’t need to engage in any fad diets.
The 42-year-old brunette was also seen fiddling with her long locks, as she tied them back for an energetic run along the shoreline – an indication of how she keeps so trim.
While Gabrielle first ventured onto the screen a quarter of a century ago, she is perhaps best known as dancing the tango with Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman, her current role as Fiona Glenanne on the USA Network and in the UK as Margaret Tudor on The Tudors.
This month, Burn Notice fans were invited to vote online for their favourite clip from the show in order to choose a new title sequence for the sixth season starting in June.
Show creator Matt Nix revealed: ‘It started when we realized that there are two changes we need to make this year. One is adding the character of Jesse (Coby Bell) to the saga cell and also updating the status of Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) and Fiona’s (Gabrielle) relationship.’

’30 Rock’ Star Katrina Bowden on the Sex and Splatter Comedy of ‘Piranha 3DD’
I have interview — in which the 30 Rock
star discusses a more immediate movie release, Piranha 3DD
(due in theaters and on VOD on June 1st). After the jump,
find out what Bowden had to say about shooting the film’s most hilarious
scene, in which a Piranha, er, “exits” her character’s body,
to her boyfriend’s horror, during a rather intimate moment between the
two.
AfterTucker and Dale vs. Evil,
Piranha 3DD is the second horror comedy in which you’ve
appeared. Do you prefer horror comedy to straight-up horror?
Yeah, I guess. Because I love comedy. I like it
when it’s done well. It’s hard to do it well, but when it’s done well,
it’s really entertaining. And straight-up horror… I’ve always been kind
of afraid of horror movies. Actually really afraid of horror
movies. I’ll see one and then I’ll think about it for years and years
and be so afraid of it. I’ve never been very good at watching them. But
the comedy-horror genre is a little bit easier for me to handle.
What’s the most frightening horror film
you’ve seen?
The list of them that I’ve seen is not very
impressive. [Laughs.] Every time I tell anybody about the ones that
really freaked me out it always gets kind of a weird reaction. But the
last one that I saw was Amityville Horror. I had my eyes closed
for half the movie. That one freaked me out. Then I saw this movie
called Darkness Falls. It was about a tooth fairy that kills
people. That one freaked me out for a long time. [Laughs.] But I haven’t
really seen many. I could say The Silence of the Lambs, but
that’s more freaky than straight-up horror.
In Piranha 3DD, you have what
will probably be the film’s most talked about scene; and certainly its
most outrageous gag. Can you talk about that?
That scene was kind of crazy. It was one of
those scenes that I read in a script and thought, “How are we going to
shoot this scene? This is insane. What have I gotten myself into?” But
it’s probably one of the most memorable parts of the movie. There were a
lot of prosthetics involved, a little bit of CGI.
There must have been a lot of laughter
while you were shooting that.
For me personally, I was extremely
uncomfortable the entire time. [Laughs.] I get very uncomfortable doing
any kind of love or romantic scenes. But especially this one. Everything
we had to do in it… I had to have a seizure and have all this gross
stuff come out of my mouth. There was blood squirting up at me… It was
not my particular idea of fun. [Laughs.] But I think it turned out
really, really well, and it’s definitely pretty shocking and kind of
crazy. But I was trying to keep a straight face. Because the actor who
plays my boyfriend in the movie, he has to wear this weird prosthetic
and he felt uncomfortable too. So I think it was just this giant
uncomfortable moment until that scene was finished.
What really came out of your mouth?
That was Alka-Seltzer and some food coloring.
It was basically Alka-Seltzer that was activated with a couple of drops
of water that I had to keep in my mouth. I don’t know what they did to
it, or maybe this is just how Alka-Seltzer works, but it foams up so
much, so quickly that you can’t really control it. [Laughs.] It was
pretty gross. I just lay there with it drying all over my face. Then the
scene where I had to throw up at the camera? That was pretty gross too.
I guess I had a lot of gross things-coming-out-of-my-mouth moments.
[Laughs.]
Before you throw up, you utter the
funniest line in the movie. Because you quite clearly, rationally,
truthfully summarize the insane events that have just occurred.
When I saw a screening of the movie, that was
the general reaction of people in the audience. [Laughs.] They were just
shocked, yet found it absolutely hysterical. When we were about to
shoot it, I was wondering how I should deliver [the line]. Should I be
frantic or upset? I didn’t know if it would be funny or if it would
sound too serious. But I think the tone of the movie is such that
everything is played realistically; it just ends up coming off really
funny and silly. That makes it better I think. So yeah, that was a line
where I was like, “Is this going to be really dramatic or ridiculous?” I
think it came out exactly as I was hoping it would.
Piranha 3DD was kind of exhausting. We
shot that scene in the lake for the entire night. I think I was in the
water for almost ten hours straight. I got out once in a while, but it
was kind of hard to get out, because it got so cold if you got out that
it was just easier to stay in the water. By the end of that night, we
wrapped at like six in the morning, and I didn’t really know what was
going on – what day it was. It was a pretty tough night. But that’s kind
of the fun part of the job too.
Besides Nurse 3D, what’s next
for you?
Right now I’m kind of taking a
little bit of a break. We just finished a season of 30 Rock,
and I’ve been promoting the movies I did last summer. And I got a new
dog, so I’m taking care of him. I don’t know what else is up for me in
the summer yet, but I think I have a little bit of time to figure that
out.
It was just announced that next season
will be the last season of 30 Rock. Is there anything you
haven’t had a chance to do yet with your character that you’d like to do
before the show ends its run?
There’s nothing really specific that I think
needs to be done. I guess what I really want for next season is that I
hope they give every character a proper ending. You know what I mean?
Make sure to tie everybody into the final ending. I think that’s gonna
be important. Because it’s such an ensemble cast and it’s hard to
[include everyone] sometimes, but we’ve all been together for six years
now. So they really need to find a good way to wrap it up and make the
fans happy, even though it’s ending. So that’s what I really hope for
next season.
One last question – what’s your
greatest fear?
My God, I have so many. It’s hard to choose.
It’s such a hard question… My greatest fear, if I had to put myself in a
scary horror-movie situation, is to be alone on a street and find out
that someone’s following me. Something like that… Or if I woke up and
found someone’s in my room and about to kill me. Or in the closet. I’m
always afraid of someone hiding in the closet… That’s three of them. I’m
sorry – I gave you too many.
Not at all. It’s nice to a have an
assortment. And they’re all entirely understandable. [Laughs.]
Yeah. [Laughs.]
Thank you so much for your time,
Katrina.
Thank you very much!

‘American Idol’ Top 3 Recap: Jessica and Joshua Pick the Right Song, Phillip’s Choice Is Too Easy
After visiting their respective hometown,
Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Phillip Phillips were back on “American Idol”
stage Wednesday night, May 16. These Top 3 finalists would sing three
songs: judges’ choice, the contestants’ choice and Jimmy Iovine’s
choice, before one of them is sent on Thursday night and the others move
on to the finals.
Joshua was the lucky number one, performing
Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind” which was chosen by Randy Jackson.
Steven Tyler gushed, “This is another Joshua moment.” Jennifer Lopez
also sang praise, “You are such a throwback and I love that about you,”
while Randy said, “I hope you can bring your touch to modern times.”
Jennifer chose Mariah Carey’s “My All” for
Jessica. Randy said it was the right song for her, while J.Lo admitted
it was a hard song, but Jessica did it so beautiful in her own way.
Steven chimed in, “When you sing you make people hang on your every
note, get used to encores and in a crazy way, you will be the last one
standing here.”
Phillip sang “Beggin” by Madcon per Steven’s
request. Steven gushed, “I’m hoping that you write your own songs
because you could be the new Springsteen.” J.Lo said it was great, while
Randy felt he was at the Phil Phillips concert.
Asked by Ryan Seacrest about who won the first
round, Randy thought Joshua has a slight edge of winning it. J.Lo
disagreed as she thought Phillip won it, with Steven supporting her
opinion.
In the second round, footage of the finalists’
hometown visits was played before they sang. “They are really acting
like I am Barack Obama,” Joshua quipped as he was welcomed by a bunch of
fans in Westlake, Louisiana. Back on “Idol” stage, he sang “Imagine” by
John Lennon. All three judges love it, with J.Lo commenting it’s “a
pull back moment” for Joshua.
For her hometown visit, Jessica traveled by
helicopter to Chula Vista, California where she reprised her rendition
of “Dance With My Father” for her dad who is overseas. Later on the live
performance show, she sang her own choice “I Don’t Want to Miss a
Thing” by Aerosmith. Steven said, “You just took a great song and made
it greater, beautiful,” while Randy thought, “It was slow in the
beginning, but you delivered.”
Before Phillip sang “Disease”, “Idol” showed
footage of him visiting Leesburg, Georgia, during which he returned to
the pawn shop. His rendition of the Matchbox 20 song was deemed “just
okay” by Randy. J.Lo and Steven agreed, with the former saying, “That
was an easy performance for you.”
In Round 3, Joshua sang “No More Drama” by Mary
J. Blige. Jimmy predicted Joshua would have another shining moment like
he did with “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World”. Randy commented, “At this
point it doesn’t matter what you do or what you sing, people should
just vote for you.”
Jimmy picked Jackson 5′s “I’ll Be There” for
Jessica to show how young she is. J.Lo said Jimmy made a good choice and
Jessica “killed it at the end.” Steven said it was “over the top,” but
Randy said it was just okay.
Wrapping up the night, Phillip sang “We’ve Got
Tonight” by Bob Seger as requested by Jimmy, who explained that the song
would address both Phillip’s male and female fans. Randy said Phillip
has “a giant moment” with the song, while J.Lo gushed, “There are about a
million girls out there that wish you were singing it to them, it was
like a lullaby, perfect.”
