Lost Season 6 Episode 16 – What They Died For

After the last episode entitled Across The Sea we discovered that Jacob and the Black Smoke were in fact brother. Their real mother was killed by their “fake” mother the day they were born. Jacob’s brother was in fact the original choice as the protector of the Island.
We learn on the light on the island, and if this light goes out the light around the world will go out. This is really starting to get creepy here folks! Could this island be the gateway to hell or between heaven and hell? We see the Man in Black’s quest to get off the island start, and he even kills the woman he knows as his mother. Once he does this, Jacob takes him to the light source and throws him into it. This is when we have the start of the Man In Black. Jacob then puts his mother and brother in a cave, and this is where Jack finds their remains when he reaches the island.
