Sir Elton John Postpones The Rest Of "Red Piano" Tour

Sir Elton John is still too sick to perform. The music legend has postponed the rest of his concerts after his doctor forbade him to perform.

John, 62, first canceled a show last week. Doctors confirmed that he had flu, advising him to postpone his show at the Sheffield Arena on October 23. It was then stated that his subsequent shows will not be affected.

However, his gigs in Newcastle, London, and Liverpool, were all postponed as well.

The latest show affected is his scheduled performance in Dublin on October 30, Friday.

A statement on his website reads: "Elton's symptoms have not improved significantly enough for Doctors to allow him to perform this Friday at the O2 in Dublin. Elton's spokesman said that 'He is bitterly disappointed not to be playing Dublin. He had picked Dublin to close the Red Piano worldwide, because of the great warmth of the people and the great concerts he had in the city over many years. He is hoping to reschedule the dates in the very near future.'"

Aiken Promotions are negotiating to reschedule the postponed shows. Ticket holders are requested to hold onto their passes.
