Pretty Little
Liars is about four girls whose best friend Alison, who
they told all their deepest secrets to, mysteriously disappeared at the
end of their 7th grade year. After Ali’s disappearance, the girls go
their separate ways. Four years later, Ali’s body is found. Shortly
afterwords, they start to get creepy text messages from a person who
calls them self “A”. “A” brings back their most unwanted memories of
their past, threatening to tell their deepest secrets. The girls thought
that since Ali was dead, at least their secrets were safe. It turns out
they were very wrong.
The first season of Pretty
Little Liars premiered on June 28,2010, ABC Family
ordered an additional 12 episodes.The show went on hiatus, and returned
with its winter premiere on January 3, 2011, with 4.22 million viewers,
becoming one of ABC
Family‘s top telecasts ever.The second season premiered
on June 14, 2011 and concluded on March 19, 2012.The third season is the
upcoming season that will premiere on June 5, 2012 on ABC
Family.
