Awake is a fantasy crime drama television series in the United States which follows a certain police detective who learns that he is leading a double life that defies reality. It all started after an accident that happened to his family. When Detective Michael Britten regained his consciousness after the family tragedy, he discovered that his wife has died but his teen-aged son has survived. As he tried to put his life back together after the family accident, he awakened again in a parallel reality in which his wife is alive and his son is dead. Confusing, isn’t it? Indeed, it is!
